Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has participated, together with the Latvian and Estonian counterparts, in a remote meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Baltic Council of Ministers (BCM).

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has spoken with Prime Minister of Latvia Krišjānis Kariņš and agreed to closely coordinate measures taken by the Governments to manage the COVID pandemic and to coordinate efforts in communicating to the public objective information about the incoming vaccine and vaccination process.

Today, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė and Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg have discussed topical matters of transatlantic security and defence, as well as security agenda of Lithuania, the region, and the Alliance as a whole.

In their telephone conversation, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė and Leader of the European People's Party Manfred Weber discussed the situation in Belarus, the European Union budget and the economic recovery plan to mitigate the effects of the crisis.  

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has had a conversation with President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, where they have discussed the bilateral and Baltic co-operation in the fields of politics, economy and energy security, measures to fight the COVID pandemic and economic recovery plans.    

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė and Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki have discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries, coordination of the European Union and NATO policies, and the situation in Belarus.

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė had a telephone conversation with Estonia’s Prime Minister Jüri Ratas to discuss the current pandemic situation, defence issues, and further cooperation between the Baltic States.

In a conference call, Acting Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and Prime Minister of Estonia Jüri Ratas have discussed the results of joint work of recent years.

Acting Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has met with Michał Dworczyk, Chief of Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, who, while on his visit to Vilnius, has conveyed personal thanks by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki for the cooperation with the Government of Saulius Skvernelis.
