Prime Minister’s greetings to India on its Independence Day

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is sending a message of greetings, on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, to India on the Independence Day.

‘I am confident that our two countries will continue their successful cooperation across the entire spectrum of fields. India is Lithuania’s important partner in the region. A shared commitment to freedom, democracy, and human rights serves as a solid foundation for the development of the relations between our countries.

We look forward to strengthening the friendship and economic ties between our nations, and our cooperation in the fields of life sciences, IT, financial technologies, and other.
