2023 marks one year since Russia’s criminal full-scale invasion of Ukraine. While Ukraine heroically continues to defend its own freedom on the frontline, it also helps to maintain the global security order. Ukraine has been defending the fundamental Democratic principles that have their roots in Ancient Greece and continue to unite our continent today. Our unity and joint support efforts are crucial in withstanding and stopping this unjustified Russian aggression. I believe that by maintaining our solidarity, we will help Ukraine to achieve victory over the aggressor and, by doing so, will strengthen the values of freedom and democracy in Europe and beyond’, reads Prime Minister’s message of greetings.
