Prime Minister sends greetings to Slovenia on its Statehood Day

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is sending a message of greetings to Slovenia, which is celebrating its Statehood Day on 25 June.

In her letter to Slovenia’s Prime Minister, Ingrida Šimonytė expresses appreciation of the friendship and close cooperation between the two countries in the EU, NATO, and other international organisations.

‘In the context of the Russia’s continued war against Ukraine, it is as important as ever for the EU and NATO to remain united, and to help Ukraine with maximum efforts in defending its territory and our shared values.

I am certain we will continue to strengthen our dialogue and cooperation for the benefit of our countries and our people, as we strive to build a peaceful and secure future for the European continent’, reads the message of greetings by Prime Minister Šimonytė.
