Prime Minister’s greetings to India celebrating its Republic Day

On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has extended congratulations to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the people on the occasion of the Republic Day of India.

“Over more than two decades since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between India and Lithuania, we have discovered a wide range of opportunities for cooperation in trade, science and research, as well as education and culture. I am confident that our mutual aspiration towards common goals will bring our nations closer together.

The Prime Minister has sent his wishes for prosperity and wellbeing to the Government and the people of India.
