Prime Minister’s greetings to India celebrating 70-th anniversary of Independence

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has extended greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India celebrating the Independence Day.

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and myself, I would like to extend sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of India. I wish you and the people of the country every success, prosperity and wellbeing”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.

The Prime Minister concludes his letter by expressing confidence as regards the future excellent economic, cultural and political ties between the countries.
