Prime Minister’s congratulations on the National Day of Spain

On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has extended congratulations to  Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and the people of Spain on the occasion of the National Day of Spain – the Hispanic Day.

“I am glad to note that this year is special to both our countries as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the reestablishment of our diplomatic relations. I truly appreciate our enhanced cooperation, including within the framework of security policy and other relevant European and international issues”, reads the letter.

The Head of Government has wished the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Spain success, prosperity and wellbeing.
