Prime Minister’s condolences over loss of lives in Italy

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis expresses sincere condolences to Prime Minister of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, over the loss of lives during the earthquake-induced avalanche.

Expressing sympathy to the people of Italy and other countries affected by this heartbreaking tragedy, the Prime Minister wishes a speedy recovery for those injured, as well as strength and perseverance in this difficult hour of bereavement for the families of the victims, and unity and mobilisation for the country in rescue and aid operations in the immediate aftermath of the disaster.
