Prime Minister extends greetings to France on the occasion of the National Day

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has extended greetings to France’s Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and all the people of the country on the occasion of the French National Day – the Bastille Day.
“The cooperation between Lithuania and France is based on shared values and deep partnership. Today, when the European Union is still facing challenges, our close bilateral relations are becoming more important than ever before. We must do our best to make the EU strong and united community based on firm values. I am glad that our countries have a similar vision and I sincerely hope that the relations between our countries and the people will continue to grow”, said Saulius Skvernelis.
The Prime Minister concludes his letter by wishing the Government led by Prime Minister Philippe every success and all the people of France joyful celebrations and future prosperity.
