Prime Minister extends greetings to Austria

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis extended his greetings, on behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, to Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern on the Austrian National Day.

“I am particularly pleased to note successful development of our close bilateral cooperation based on mutual respect and values as well as our political dialogue in the international organisations. I am delighted at the strengthening political, economic and cultural ties between Austria and Lithuania. I trust that our bilateral cooperation will continue to grow ever stronger and that our countries will continue to support the European Agenda and jointly seek a sustainable and competitive European Union”, reads the letter of the Head of Government.
