Prime Minister expresses condolences over the loss of lives in the terrorist attack in France

Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has extended condolences to the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls and all the people over the loss of lives in the truck attack on the crowd celebrating the Bastille Day in Nice resort.

“I express deep condolences to the victims’ families, relatives and all the French people affected by this atrocious Bastille Day attack. We stand with you in this difficult hour of bereavement, hoping for fast recovery of the wounded and the continued strength of the nation”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.

Prime Minister A. Butkevičius has emphasized that any terrorist act is senseless and reprehensible means of achieving political ends.
