Prime Minister expresses condolences over the loss of lives in the earthquake in Italy

Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has extended condolences to the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi over the loss of lives in the severe earthquake in the central part of the country.

“On behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Lithuania I express deep condolences to the  families and relatives of victims of this tragic natural disaster wishing recovery of the wounded and victims”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.

The Head of Government expresses highest respect, wishes the Italian nation strength and solidarity in this difficult hour of distress and hopes for successful rescue operations and recovery from this natural disaster.
