Prime Minister congratulates Ukraine on Independence Day

Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius congratulated Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and the people of Ukraine on the Independence Day.

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, I would like to extend our sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Ukraine’s Independence Day. I am delighted with such an intensive cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine; allow me to express my gratitude for the warm relations between our countries. We are prepared to continue to support you on the path of reforms. I am confident that on the way to the European integration your country will establish a free and prosperous society”, reads Prime Minister Butkevičius in his letter of congratulations.

The Head of Government also pointed out that Lithuania supports and will continue to support the independence of Ukraine and its territorial integrity.
