Prime Minister Butkevičius has extended greetings to Austria on its National Day

Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has sent a letter to Federal Chancellor of Austria Christian Kern and extended greetings to the Chancellor and the people of Austria on the occasion of the National Day of Austria.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Lithuania, I convey sincere greetings on the occasion of the National Day of Austria. I wish your Government and the people of Austria every success, prosperity, and wellbeing. I am delighted at relations between our states, which are based on the principles of strong partnership, and successful bilateral cooperation. I am convinced that the partnership of our states will become ever stronger in the future, and that our bilateral relations in the fields of economic cooperation, security policy, and other areas will continue to strengthen and develop in the positive direction”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.     

According to the Prime Minister, mutual trust, support, and concerted efforts will enable us to implement the vision of a safe, prosperous, and forward-looking European Union.
