Head of Government sends greetings to Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis

Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė has greeted the sworn-in Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who has resumed the leadership over the Government after the successful national parliamentary elections.
‘As close partners and allies in the EU and NATO, Lithuania and Greece have shared common challenges and aspirations. Let me assure you of our determination to further strengthen our bilateral relations and common endeavours aimed at addressing the emerging European challenges, including our shared responsibility for secure and prosperous Europe.
Our continued unity in supporting Ukraine and in strengthening sanctions against Russia and Belarus is important as we seek sustainable peace, and a strong Europe that remains impervious to aggressors’ blackmailing’, reads Prime minister’s letter.
The Prime Minister says she has no doubts that the friendship and cooperation will continue to grow for the benefit of the two countries, their people, and Europe as a whole.
Prime Minister wished Greece’s Prime Minister and the Government every success in building the future of wellbeing for the people of Greece.
