On behalf of the Government Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has congratulated Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydlo and the people of Poland on the occasion of its Independence Day.
“The year 2016 has been an exceptional year for the history of our countries: we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of restoration of the diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Poland. I am happy that today, just like 25 years ago, we share common values: freedom, respect for human rights, welfare, safe and peaceful neighbourhood. I am confident that with combined efforts we will seek to implement these goals”, reads the letter of the Head of Government.
The Prime Minister has expressed deep respect to the Polish Prime Minister and wishes every success, prosperity and wellbeing for the Government and the people of Poland.
