Acting Prime Minister expresses condolences over the terrorist attack in Istanbul

Acting Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has condemned the terrorist attack in Istanbul and expressed condolences to the people of Turkey.
“I express deep condolences to the victims’ families, relatives and all the people of Turkey affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. I wish you strength to sustain you in this difficult hour of loss”, reads Prime Minister’s letter, which also condemns atrocious terrorist attacks against civilians, noting the borderless nature of the terrorism and expressing Lithuania’s solidarity with Turkey as well as with all the international community in a joint effort to fight terrorist challenges.
